The $1.4 billion project is projected to attract nearly 20,000 visitors daily, and will bring thousands of new jobs to Prince George’s County.

McKissack & McKissack provided project management, schedule development, budget management, and diversity management services for the $1.4 billion project.

Set on 23 acres on the Potomac River in Prince George’s County, Maryland, approximately ten miles from downtown Washington, D.C., the resort, which opened on December 8, is a convenient base for tourists. A 24-story hotel offers 308 rooms and suites. In addition to the 125,000-square-foot casino, amenities include a 3,000-seat flexible theater venue, a spa, and world-class restaurants operated by renowned chefs José Andrés, Marcus Samuelsson, and the brothers Michael and Bryan Voltaggio. MGM National Harbor also has 50,000 square feet of meeting space, making it a strategic location for business conferences.
