Role Description
Reporting To: Project Executive
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Salary range: $135,000.00 - $160,000.00
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage mechanical construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company goals.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
• Lead project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to junior staff.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on mechanical projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mechanical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction practices, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
