Full Position Description

Your ROLE (Logistics):

Reporting To: Project Executive

Where You Work: Washington D.C. (Onsite)

Salary range: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00

 

Your Role (Responsibilities):

  • Project Management: Lead and manage sewer engineering design and consulting teams for complex assignments, including hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, utility plans, technical specifications, preliminary and final designs, bid assistance, design services during construction (DSDC), infrastructure condition assessment and rehabilitation, and cost estimating for pump stations, pipelines, treatment plants, and storm water systems.
  • Resource Management: Develop work delivery plans to manage resources, budget, schedule, deliverables, and client engagement for engineering projects.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee multiple technical assignments simultaneously, leading teams to complete assignments to the client’s satisfaction while adhering to contract requirements and maintaining schedule and budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Review engineering designs, bid packages, RFPs, and Statements of Work prepared by others, supporting the client’s Capital Improvement Plan implementation.

What We NEED You to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 12-15 years of experience in managing water and wastewater engineering design projects and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing the development and implementation of design and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure projects.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Must be able to reciprocate the license in DC.
